The Hi-Wire RAD Beer Garden was one of the many businesses that took a major hit from Hurricane Helene in September 2024, but we are back, baby! And we’ve grown into a full-fledged fun campus.

Whether you’re flying solo or with your family, connecting with old friends, or wanting to make some new ones, unwind and enjoy the casual atmosphere at Hi-Wire. You will find our taproom and beer garden—along with the new social sports club Ace & Eagle (Pickleball courts! Golf simulators! Billiards!) and local favorite The Flying Bike (E-bike tours- taking off here starting in spring!)—in the heart of the creative and eclectic River Arts District.
With more than 20 beers on tap, you can find your new favorite Asheville craft beer, from an award-winning lager to a light-bodied citrus ale to a rich dessert-inspired stout. If housemade cider or wine better suits your taste, we’ve got that, too. Curious about THC? Try our low-mg Hi-Wire Hi-Jinks seltzer. Sit down at a community table or choose a quieter corner; there is plenty of space available throughout our taproom and beer garden.
Hi-Wire’s third Asheville, N.C. location is in the city’s River Arts District (RAD). Embracing the artistic flair that attracts so many to the RAD, Hi-Wire’s outdoor Beer Garden is made from up-cycled shipping containers covered in murals by local artists. The seating continues inside where you’ll find bar games like ping-pong, air hockey, and arcades. This large location also houses Hi-Wire’s distribution warehouse and corporate headquarters.
Newly added to the Hi-Wire River Arts Campus is Ace & Eagle, a social sports club offering three pickleball courts, four golf simulators, and billiards. Additionally, The Flying Bike, an e-bike tour company sets off on inspiring city tours from their new spot here in the RAD.
All of this is just down the road from Hi-Wire’s Biltmore Village Production Brewery & Taproom as well as our original location and Specialty Brewery & Taproom on Asheville’s South Slope.
The whole family is invited, as kids are always welcome at our family-friendly taproom in Asheville. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome, too. You can keep busy with our bar games like ping-pong, corn hole, darts, and arcade games, and sporting options, including pickleball courts, golf simulators, and billiards available from the Ace & Eagle social sports club, located right here on our campus. We also offer a variety of non-alcoholic beverages for both kids and adults. If you’re the designated driver, no problem; you can still enjoy the great taste of non-alcoholic beer, soda, and more.
Check out our weekly promotions and events, such as Mug Mondays or Trivia Tuesdays, and join us for special events throughout the year, like our annual Stout Bout Beer Festival, where breweries from near and far compete to be the Stout Bout Champion. When you visit, you’ll learn why Hi-Wire Brewing is one of the most dynamic and engaging brewery experiences in Asheville and a must-visit stop in the River Arts District.

You can reserve a table or area of the taproom for your group any day of the week, when available. Reservations are not required, but if you’re rolling with a large party, reserving a table guarantees you have all the space you need.

Hungry? At Hi-Wire Brewing, we invite local food trucks to share their offerings with our customers during open hours, seven days a week. You can grab a snack or skip cooking dinner altogether, with an evening out for the whole family at the RAD Beer Garden. The first part of the week, we’ve got Blue Collar Diner on campus, and the second half of the week, you’ll find Happy Belly Food Truck.
