Here at Hi-Wire Brewing, we offer two beautiful Asheville event spaces with top-of-the-line amenities to make your event’s vision come to life – so you can sit back and enjoy it.
THE BIER GARDEN
For more casual, semi-private Asheville events, the Bier Garden is the perfect space. Located in the back patio of Hi-Wire’s Biltmore Village Production Brewery and Taproom, this eclectic, industrial space offers string lighting, a speaker system, a four tap private bar and more. With bohemian decor and lush greenery, you’ll find that the Bier Garden creates a memorable backdrop for any cool and casual event you’re planning.

THE EVENT SPACE IN ASHEVILLE
Located at Hi-Wire Biltmore Village, the Event Space is a large, industrial modern space that’s perfect for larger groups and private events. This 2,500 square foot banquet room comes with various lighting options, audio-visual equipment, a seven tap private draft bar, and so much more. Additionally, it’s within walking distance to many hotels, restaurants, and historic Biltmore Village so your guests will have plenty to explore to enjoy a taste of Asheville.

THE EVENT SPACE
↓ If I host my wedding at The Event Space, what are the hours?
You have access to the Event Space at 10am and the last call will be at 10:30pm, all guests must exit by 11:00pm.
↓ What is the parking situation like for The Event Space?
Hi-Wire Biltmore Village has lots of parking, but being a popular spot for libations, parking can become limited. Parking at our neighbors is a big no no, but don’t worry, there are several lots within walking distance that are free in the evenings and on weekends. We are happy to share these parking lot locations with you when you book your next event. As always, we encourage all patrons to use alternative transportation when consuming alcohol.
↓ Is the Event Space handicapped accessible?
Yes! We have a ramp for handicap access into the building and a handicap accessible bathroom on the main floor.
↓ Do you require us to use a set list of caterers?
Nope, there are so many wonderful catering companies in our area! You are welcome to bring in any caterer. We do require the catering company to provide staff to handle setup, maintenance, and breakdown. We do not allow “drop off” food or catering. Hi-Wire staff is not responsible for any setup or cleaning of catering items. We have a wonderful list of preferred caterers that we’d be happy to recommend! We prefer Foothills Meats.
↓ Can I bring in a food truck to the Event Space?
Absolutely! We do require the food truck company to provide staff to handle setup, maintenance, and breakdown. We do not allow “drop off” food or catering. Hi-Wire staff is not responsible for any setup or cleaning of catering items. We have a wonderful list of preferred caterers that we’d be happy to recommend!
↓ Can we offer liquor at the bar?
Yes, but ONLY if you apply for a one time event permit with the State of North Carolina and pay a fine. Otherwise it’s forbidden. That goes for getting ready in the bridal suites too.
↓ Can you recommend wedding vendors?
Absolutely! We have a list of vendors we trust and have worked with before.
↓ Can we bring in our own wine?
Yes, there is a $15/bottle corking fee for any bottle open.
↓ Can we choose our own beers on draft?
You better believe it! Our Event Coordinator will help you in selecting beers available and in season.
↓ Can we hang draping and decor on the walls?
Oh yeah! Removable adhesives are required for any hanging items on our walls.
↓ Can I have open flames?
Sorry, real candles are not permitted in the Event Space. We provide (50) flameless candles for use on your wedding day.
↓ Can my DJ hookup to your in house speakers?
Sorry, our system is not equipped to link with outside equipment.
↓ Can I hook up my laptop, iphone or ipod to your in house speakers?
We have HDMI, VGA and Aux Audio cables. Please note that newer Iphones will not be compatible with our in house system as they do not have a headphone jack for the audio cable – please bring your adaptor.
↓ Do you have a dance floor?
We do not offer a dance floor in-house outside of our solid surface concrete flooring, but we can direct you to a few companies in town who offer dance floors for rent.
↓ Is your lighting dimmable?
Let’s create the mood! Our string lighting is dimmable.
↓ Do you offer brewery tours for our bridal party?
Yes we do! Private brewery tours and tastings can be arranged for a fun activity on your wedding day!
↓ Do we get a rehearsal the day before?
Of course! Timing will be determined based on the current day’s reservations.
↓ Can we get a discount for holding our rehearsal dinner at your facility in conjunction with our wedding?
We like your style! Yes, we offer a discount for multiple bookings….and it’s a good one!
↓ Do we have a say in how the space is laid out?
Absolutely, our Event Coordinator will offer you several layout options for your big day. You will approve your preferred layout and our staff will set the room before your arrival on the day of your event.
↓ Why do you require a Day of Coordinator for my wedding?
Having a day of coordinator gives you the piece of mind that every detail you’ve envisioned will come to life on your wedding day. Your Day of Coordinator will help in creating a timeline for your day, place and execute your decorations and make sure everyone is where they need to be as the day progresses. All outside vendors will report to your Day of Coordinator and not Hi-Wire staff. Our Event Coordinator will work closely with your Day of Coordinator to make your day the best it can be!

Yes, the bier garden is covered.
↓ Is there a rain option for the Bier Garden?
In the event of extreme weather conditions, Hi-Wire staff will do their best to make arrangements in our main taproom or (if available) the Event Space to accommodate your event.
↓ Can I bring in my own food or catering?
You are welcome to bring in any caterer. We do require the catering company to provide staff to handle setup, maintaining and breakdown. We do not allow “drop off” food or catering. Hi-Wire staff is not responsible for any setup or cleaning of catering items. We have a wonderful list of preferred caterers that we’d be happy to recommend!
↓ Can I bring in my own cake or desserts?
Yes, you can. Please note that Hi-wire is not responsible for the distribution and cutting of your cake and desserts. Hi-Wire does not offer ANY catering items including; silverware, napkins, plates, etc.
And don’t forget to save us a slice!
↓ Is there a catering kitchen in the Bier Garden?
No, there is no catering kitchen in the Bier Garden.
↓ Can I bring in my own wine?

Unfortunately, no. Guests must re-enter the taproom to use the restroom facilities.

We do! We have 4 standup heaters for the space to keep you nice and toasty!
